I Lost My Fat With Golf

To a lot of people when you mention golf it comes as somewhat a very boring and tedious game. If you mention it in a fitness form then they think what sort of exercise can I get from hitting a club?

Well I am going to tell you a true story of how playing golf helped me lose over 5 stone in pure weight. I was around 23 years old. I am not a very tall person but I did weigh an extremley heavy 19 stone, I was one of these people that would just sit in front of the TV and computer all week long and snack out. It became apparent to me that I was over weight when I walked up a small flight of stairs and could barely catch my breath.

Something had to be done before I turned into something that was going to ruin my body for the rest of my life. I first started to try to go to the gym, but it was just too much I was in no physical state to be visiting the gym. Everything I tried to do I just got out of air. So one of my dear friends suggested that I go to the local golf club and start playing golf, the first thing that came to my mind was how the heck will that help?

But I gritted my teeth and took the plunge, I actually very much enjoyed my first game and it was very rewarding. I got a splash of sunshine and a breath of fresh air. But what was happening to my body was what shocked me I was using all of my muscles without even know. I regularly played 3 times a week and in 5 months I had lost all of my weight. I would definitely recommend golf to anyone.
